Time certainly flies when you’re having fun or, in our case, when you’re expanding your services to help even more children and adults with their home health care needs.
This week, Epic Health Services officially announced that the company is expanding its service offerings as well as entering new markets through the acquisition of two companies: Santé Pediatric Services and AmeriCare.
“For over ten years, Epic has been known as a leading provider of in-home health care,” said John C. Garbarino, Epic’s president and chief executive officer. “Our in-home pediatric therapy division will be strengthened by Santé’s experience and expertise in all aspects of pediatric therapy. We’re also excited to enter Massachusetts in our on-going quest to expand Epic care throughout the northeastern United States.”
The Santé acquisition is expected to not only add to Epic’s growing pediatric clientele for in-home physical, occupational and speech-language therapy, but also provide a clinic-based presence in 11 cities throughout the state of Texas.
Plus, the AmeriCare acquisition provides Epic with three new service lines in the state of Massachusetts:
- Home nursing for clients with psychiatric and other behavioral issues
- Private-pay personal care for older adults
- Nursing and aide services for other elderly and disabled clients
It has truly been an Epic year for us, and we couldn’t do it all without the wonderful clients and families for whom we provide care, as well as our incredible staff of nurses, therapists and client service professionals.
Thanks for making 2012 an Epic year!
