Have you been out and about in Amarillo, Texas, lately? If so, you may have bumped into Epic team members at recent community events.

Last Saturday, Amarillo team members participated in the 2nd Annual Route 66 Parent Symposium and Resource Fair, a family-friendly event for families of children with disabilities.

The all-day event featured workshops on attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, sensory integration, developmental disabilities, learning disabilities, applied behavior analysis and autism.

Staci Elsen, client relations director; Erin Keller, therapy director; and Ashley Colston, speech therapy supervisor, were on hand to talk with families and other community agencies about our home health care services for children and adults.

“We enjoyed meeting and networking with the families,” said Staci. “It’s good to know that in addition to providing care, we are also a valuable resource for families that need us.”

This is the first year the Amarillo office has participated in the resource fair. This year’s event was hosted by the Parent Education Network (PEN) and Partners Resource Network (PRN).

Thanks, Amarillo, for helping west Texas families!
