Our branch in Beaumont, Texas, recently sponsored Opening Day for the baseball team of Adaptive Sports for Kids.

Adaptive Sports for Kids is an organization that gives children and young adults with special needs the opportunity to play sports they may not otherwise be able to play, at no cost to them.

Epic team members Lorenzo Argote, Kristi Sumrall, Amanda Johnson, Brittany Singley, Kyle DuBose, Cindy Tremont, Elizabeth Keith, Anthony Jackson, Amber Ferguson, Janice Williams and Krystle Milburn held a variety of volunteer roles at the event, including assisting players on the baseball field and distributing goodie bags.

The day was filled with fun and adaptive activities for children with special needs including a horseshoe and beanbag toss.

Great job, Beaumont!
