El Paso Team Celebrates Northwest Hospital Groundbreaking

Last Friday, team members from our El Paso, Texas, office attended the groundbreaking of Northwest Hospital, a new teaching hospital to be built in northwest El Paso.

The hospital will operate as part of the Sierra Providence Health Network and will serve as a teaching hospital for medical students, nursing students, resident physicians and faculty from Texas Tech University Health Science Center’s (TTUHSC) Paul L. Foster School of Medicine.

The new facility is the result of a collaboration between Sierra Providence Health Network and TTUHSC.

Epic team members Robert Yocom, executive director, and Denisa Felix, client relations director, attended the event to show their support for the new hospital and to learn about the types of services to be provided at the facility.

Robert also had the opportunity to meet with Eric Evans, CEO of the Sierra Providence Health Network.

“It’s great to see Texas Tech and the Sierra Providence Health Network committed to improving healthcare for the El Paso community,” said Robert. “We work closely with Sierra’s other four El Paso hospitals and we are excited to see them break ground on a new facility.”

The hospital will feature a level two neonatal intensive care unit.

Congratulations, Sierra Providence Health Network and TTUHSC, on breaking ground at your new hospital!
