Last Saturday, members from our Epic Fort Worth, Arlington and Haltom City teams participated in Walk Now for Autism Speaks, an event that raises funds for autism research and increases awareness about the prevalence of autism.

The event was held at the Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth, Texas.

Epic team members Ryan Henson, Amy Peacock, Rosalyn Pryor, Scott Stafford, Ponna Ly, Juan Zavala, Ruby Robledo, Amy Newcomer and Robin Keller manned an information booth and shared information about our autism and applied behavior analysis (ABA) services with participants and families in attendance.

“We enjoyed sharing information about our ABA and autism services with families,” said Ryan. “It was also wonderful to see so many people supporting such a worthwhile cause.”

The walk is the signature fundraising event of Autism Speaks, an organization dedicated to funding research into the causes, prevention, treatments and cure for autism; increasing awareness of autism spectrum disorders; and advocating for the needs of individuals with autism and their families.

The annual event brings together thousands of participants annually across the country with a common goal of supporting Autism Speaks.
