Epic Teams in Houston and Katy Help Local Families
Our Houston offices teamed up recently to ‘Do Good’ for the community!
On June 28, team members from Epic’s Houston and Katy offices exhibited at the Do Good Community Outreach Day, a family-friendly event that provides information and assistance for families in Houston and surrounding areas.
The fun-filled event was held at Sunset Park in Rosenberg, Texas and featured information booths and a variety of live community service projects including projects hosted by Habitat for Humanity and the Fort Bend County Women’s Center.
Epic team members Lindsay Beaty, regional therapy director; Aaron Burris, executive director; Alex Tassin, client services associate; Jasmin Matula, physical therapy assistant; Bianca Hoang, physical therapy supervisor; and Vicki Gilani, speech language pathologist, manned a booth and shared information about Epic’s nursing and therapy services with families.
Bianca, who is car seat safety certified, also provided free car seat education and car seat checks for families throughout the day.
“We had a blast telling families about our passion for the great care that Epic provides to our patients,” said Lindsay. “It was also a great opportunity to partner with vendors who were out to ‘Do Good’ for the community. We’re all in this together!”
This event was hosted by Thrive Community Church in Katy, Texas.
Thanks, Katy and Houston, for serving as a resource for Houston families!
