There was a Pink Out yesterday at Epic’s North Houston office.
In support of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the staff wore their finest pink attire and decorated the office with pink balloons.
Tunesha Banks, therapy director, was instrumental in organizing the event.
“I shared with everyone in our weekly team meeting how this was personal, as my mother died of breast cancer seven years ago,” she said. “The entire office went pink to celebrate the survivors and in memory of the lives lost to breast cancer.”
Marcus Koenig, executive director, was happy to see his team in pink.
“When we started talking about October being Breast Cancer Awareness month, we discovered how the disease had impacted the lives of some of our team members,” said Marcus. “We wanted to show our support and promote awareness.”
