December 12, 2012

news-houston-12-2012To say that 2012 has been a busy year for our South Houston branch would be an understatement. Not only has everyone been providing the outstanding care and client service for which Epic is known, but they have been out and about in the community providing some fun and great info along the way.

Most recently, the team has been busy building connections with other special-needs service providers in the Houston region. Epic representatives attended the Social Workers of America conference as well as the Connecting the Dots conference, which was sponsored by HealthBridge Children’s Hospital. Both events focused on helping social workers and case managers identify valuable patient-care resources in the Houston region.

The team members were also invited to attend the Case Manager Coalition Conference, where they got the chance to meet with case managers who work for the pediatric and adult communities throughout the Texas Medical Center.

And to finish out the year, the South Houston branch is participating in the Toys for Tots program. So if you are in the area, you are welcome to stop by, say hi and drop off a new, unwrapped toy.

Although it’s been a busy year, we can’t let it end without acknowledging our incredible nurses, therapists and clients. It’s because of them that we get the chance to provide Epic care every single day of the year.

From everyone at the South Houston branch, we wish you and your family a safe and happy holiday season!
