Epic Staff Superstars so often demonstrate strength as one of their defining qualities. Jason Umpierrez embodies strength every day when he walks through the doors at Epic. He’s not the finish early and check out early type of person that you meet so often these days. He’s constantly driving to do better, be better, and perform better for our patients and their families. He uses that dedication and strength to find solutions for families and to encourage his coworkers to do great work as well. That’s why Jason is our latest Epic Staff Superstar!
Jason’s team in Chambersburg, PA describes him as a lively person who is passionate about his family and his patients. He is constantly serving and getting involved in events that allow him to give back and help others in the community. Jason takes the time in and out of work to build relationships that will ultimately improve the lives of our patients. His co-worker, Executive Director Josh Spigner says, “While being a Client Relations Director, Jason has been building his skills and a relationship with Chambersburg Area School District. Through building this relationship, he has brought five patients on service with Epic since the beginning of September and has brought on three patients in October alone.” Regardless of time or place, he finds a way to fully involve himself – always diving in head first! His office recently went to the Ronald McDonald House in Hershey, PA where Jason took on the lofty task of cooking a spectacular meal for the guests to enjoy. Way to go Jason!
During his first year with Epic Health Services, Jason was a hard working Client Service Supervisor who has recently been promoted to the role of Client Relations Director. Jason involves himself in the community and never hesitates to lend a helping hand. Even though Jason has accomplished one of his long term goals to become a Client Relations Director he still takes the time to develop and foster relationships with our great referral sources throughout Pennsylvania.
Outside of work Jason enjoys spending time with his three boys and puppy. He enjoys fun family activities and taking the time to cook up some family meals.
When we asked Jason about his many accomplishments he said, “I owe my achievements to the great leadership and support I received from all levels of our Epic family. In addition, my experience in the United States Marine Corp set the foundation of my work Ethic.” Epic is honored to have such a passionate and experienced leader on our team! We want to recognize and thank Jason for everything he does to improve the lives of others.
