Drew Boring, speech-language pathologist and therapy director

Meet a Member!

Today, it’s our honor to introduce you to Drew Boring, speech-language pathologist (SLP) and therapy director with our pediatric therapy clinic in Tyler, Texas.

Q: What do you enjoy most about being an SLP?
A:
What I love most about being an SLP are the opportunities to impact the lives of children and families on a meaningful level that enhances their lives.

Q: Why did you choose to work at Epic?
A: I chose to work at Epic because it allows me to practice my trade in an environment that is best suited to the needs of the child.

Q: What are your favorite therapy tools?
A: I enjoy incorporating music into therapy activities. Children respond to music and retain concepts when we can tap into more than one part of the brain with different modalities or presentations.

Q: What are your top three therapy resources?
A: My most valuable resources are my team members in therapy, nursing and operations.

Thank you, Drew, for all you do for our kiddos and the local community!
