North Texas Epic Team Members Serve as Community Resources

Recently, several Epic team members from branches and clinics across north Texas exhibited at the 3rd Annual Living with Disability Information and Resource Conference.

The conference provides families with information and strategies to deal with the unique issues and challenges they face on a daily basis in caring for their children, and empowers them to advocate for their child’s needs.

The conference also provides an opportunity for parents to connect with other families and individuals living with a disability, service providers and the community at large.

Epic team members Ryan Henson, Brandon Helm, Jacqueline Sisk, Ponna Ly, Juan Zavala and Andrew Irwin manned an information booth and shared information about Epic’s services with attendees.

“We look forward to this event each year because it gives us the opportunity to share information about our services with the people who need them,” said Ryan. “Serving as a community resource is one of our top priorities.”

The conference is a collaboration between Texas Parent to Parent, Community Now!, and the Arc of Northeast Tarrant County.

Great job, teams!
