What do dancing, face painting and popcorn have in common? They’re all a part of the fun had at Epic’s San Antonio Summer Kick-Off Luau!
The Epic-sponsored event, held last week, allowed pediatric patients and their families an opportunity to have some fun to kick-off the beginning of summer.
The event welcomed approximately 40 attendees.
Children enjoyed spending the afternoon listening and dancing to music, having their faces painted by Epic team members, and posing for fun photos.
And when they weren’t playing, families enjoyed eating nachos that were provided by the Epic team. They also enjoyed popcorn and a chocolate fountain, provided by two Epic moms.
The team, including the office staff and therapists, had a blast spending the day meeting and interacting with patients and their families.
This is the first year the clinic has hosted this event and it was such a success that they are already planning an event for back-to-school.
“The event was amazing,” said Renee Pina, therapy director. “The kids were excited and it was so much fun to see them dancing and having fun.”
What a great way to welcome the summer, Epic San Antonio! Awesome work!
